**Responsibilities**:
- Develop new Power BI Reports
- Absorb, understand and confirm (where necessary) business requirements
- Work with the technical architect to understand the solution and value to the business
- Transfer knowledge to operational staff so they can maintain the reports
- A basic understanding of data modelling, and performing analysis on the data sources
- Providing analytical support and assisting all business units with their data needs
- Uncovering and delivering timely insights, scheduled or ad-hoc reporting, and conducting rigorous data analysis
- Working with stakeholders to gather data requirements
- Building new self-serve solutions including reports and data visualizations
- Building and maintaining dashboards to track departmental and company performance
- Working on continuous evolution of data platforms and executing against the product roadmap
- Developing and maintaining the company’s data models, central data warehouse, and contributing to data pipelines
- Maintaining data analytics infrastructure and documentation
- Ensuring up-time and overall data quality
- Writing efficient, maintainable, and scalable SQL
- Training and mentoring other business users
**Qualifications**:
- experience with relational data modeling and data analysis
- Strong background with SQL and analytic databases
- Experience with BI reporting platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or others
- Strong fluency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) business and valuation metrics
- Programming and scripting skills for data science
- Experience in ETL, data pipelining, and related workflow management systems
- Experience with web analytics tools is an asset.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in this role - Preferably with a recognized professional certification.
