Activities Program Volunteer

Richmond Hill, Canada Memory Lane Home Living Inc Full time

We are looking for volunteers to help with our program activities while working under the supervision of our Program Facilitator.

**Requirements**:

- **18 years or older and interested in Recreational Therapy, Psychology, Social Service Work, or Music Therapy.
- Enjoys music, the outdoors, games and engaging in conversation.
- Willingness to learn.
- Foster relationships with older adults with dementia and other volunteers.
- Willing to commit to one 5 hours shift/ week.
- Must have experience working with individuals with dementia (work or lived experience)

**What We Offer**:

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Permanent
Part-time hours: 4-6 per week

COVID-19 considerations:
We are working with a vulnerable group in our community, we ask that volunteers show proof of vaccination. We rapid testing once a week.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:
