_Breakfast attendant_

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Breakfast Attendant will provide customer service, guest satisfaction and a quality work environment. It is the responsibility of the Breakfast Attendant to efficiently handle the breakfast service.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To provide friendly, efficient hot buffet breakfast service.
- Prepare and arrange food that are attractive and appetizing to the guests
- Inspect food being served.
- Meet service standards.
- Inspect to ensure stock is adequate before beginning operation.
- Know what items are not available to guests.
- Replace and rotate stock correctly.
- Keep condiments stocked.
- Full knowledge of served items and methods of preparation as needed.
- Works within policy to accommodate guest's special requests.
- Service and stocks items in a prompt and courteous manner and according to established service standards.
- To clean and clean tables as required using proper sanitation program.
- To report any irregularities or comments from our guests to management.
- To acknowledge and create a warm welcome to all guests
- To consistently exceed guest expectations.
- To ensure surrounding staff are working safely.
- Product knowledge of food will be helpful.
- Attributes such as being polite, courteous, and working effectively in a team environment are a must.
- Be familiar with hotel services offered
- Attend any training sessions or meetings (when asked)
- Other duties may be assigned by management

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High school diploma is preferred
- Ability to work with food and hot dishes
- Carries ‘Food Safety Handling’ card is a plus
- Complete Health and Safety in four steps is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and be detail-oriented
- Professional and friendly with all guests. Ability to achieve guest satisfaction
- Prior experience in Food and Beverage is an asset
