Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Assistant to join our team. The Shop Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in our shop, including cleaning, maintenance, and customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and has a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Clean and maintain the shop area, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing tools and equipment. - Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or repairing minor fixtures. - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with their needs. - Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing incoming shipments. - Help with assembly or disassembly of products using hand tools or power tools as needed. - Perform heavy lifting tasks when required. Skills: - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. - Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is a plus. - Familiarity with power tools and hand tools for basic repairs or assembly tasks. - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks efficiently. - Capable of lifting heavy objects safely and following proper lifting techniques. - Customer service-oriented mindset to provide a positive experience for customers. **Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55-$20.00 per hour
