Woof Dog Shop & Daycare is currently seeking a new full time Woof Daycare Team Member. Woof has been operating our dog daycare, shop & grooming facility at Bloor West for over 9 years and our day camp hiking & boarding farm property for 4 years. We are blessed with an amazing group of clients, a family atmosphere and a place where we pride ourselves on our staff enjoying coming into work everyday.

Staff are trained in all things 'dog' and to keep every day interesting, staff rotate into different roles throughout the day to keep staff stimulated & engaged. We are a non-hierarchy company, everyone is treated equally and everyone pitches in in all areas (even the owner), it makes for a much more supportive, fun and relaxed work environment.

All attendants must have their G2/G license and clean driving record. All G2 licensed drivers must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience for shuttle shifts (shuttle provided by Woof).

Woof staff rotate between roles through out the day. Staff are given an extensive amount of training in all areas.
- **City Daycare**: Assisting with dog intakes, overseeing play groups in daycare rooms & back yard, maintaining safe play etc, updating pet behavioral and health notes, doing daily walks (solo or pairs only, we have a backyard, big groups don't happen), cleaning and maintaining of the daycare spaces.
- **Grooming**: Assisting in bathing and drying dogs, assisting with client intakes and pick ups and cleaning and maintaining of the grooming space. Groomer splits grooming tips with her staff.
- **Farm Day Camp**: Picking up day camp dogs and driving them out to our 50 acre farm for off leash hikes and in our indoor/outdoor enclosed play area.
- **Shuttle**: Operating a one of the Woof shuttle to pick up and drop off dogs within our shuttle zone or for Country Day Camp.

A typical city shift would include a few hours of each position listed above each day to ensure no one gets bored or overwhelmed on busier days

**Hours & Shifts**: 34-40 hours per week (maximum 4 shifts per week due to one longer shift)
- Monday through Friday: 7am to 7pm
- Saturdays shifts: 9am to 5pm (this can be a 4 hour or 8 hour shift depending)
- Closed Sundays
- Shift combos generally break down into 2 or 12 hr shifts and a 8 or 4 hour shift OR 3 12 hour shifts and a 4 hour shift. We try and leave scheduling flexible for our staff_

**Training**: Staff are given on the job (paid) dog behavior and handling training for approximately 2 weeks (depending on experience and natural skill level) and another 2 weeks of systems and procedures etc.

**Requirements**: (previous dog daycare experience is not required).
- G2 or G License
- Must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week (34 hours minimum)

**Salary**: Starting at $15.50 per hour plus grooming tips (generally they range between an extra $25 to $65 dollars per week depending on how many grooming hours worked).

**Salary**: $15.50-$17.00 per hour
