Job description

**YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL TIME - 8 HOUR ROTATING SHIFTS -- DAY (7:30AM TO 3:30PM) AFTERNOON (3:30PM-11:30PM) AND NIGHT (11:30PM TO 7:30AM) Shifts rotate every 2 weeks**

We are currently looking for one Chemical Technician to add to our growing team.

**Main Duties**
- Perform Titrations and other lab analysis.
- Make chemical additions to our process tanks as required.
- Monitor and adjust out treatment settings of our Waste Water Treatment System.
- Clean filter presses as required.
- Monitor, adjust and calibrate our automated systems.
- Work as a team member prepared to help your other team members when required.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment
- Lead Weekend maintenance shifts overseeing routine chemical maintenance tasks
- Other assigned work as required

**Requirements**:

- Understanding of inorganic chemistry,
- Electro plating or anodizing experience would be an asset.
- Experience using and calibrating lab analytical equipment.
- Completion of diploma or degree in chemistry is preferred
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Experience with routine maintenance operations
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills
- Work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Able to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people sensitively, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Computer literate
- **Able to work rotating shifts**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
