The Manager, Inpatient and Rehabilitation Services is responsible for the coordination and provision of patient care for the following patient care areas at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) site of MAHC: Med/Surg Unit and Rehabilitation Services. This position will plan, organize and direct the day-to-day activities within the departments outlined, take an active role in ensuring smooth daily operations at the HDMH site and be a liaison with the clinical nursing managers at the SMMH site, along with colleagues in not only other nursing portfolios but across the multidisciplinary team.

This position will ensure that the nursing care provided in the inpatient units at the HDMH site is patient-centered, effective, efficient, quality focused and accepted ethical and professional nursing practices are in accordance with standards, policies and procedures of the hospital and all regulating bodies. This position will take an active role in furthering the goals and objectives of the organization guided by the strategic plan and operational goals set for the portfolio.

The Manager, Inpatient and Rehabilitation Services will be responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining a nursing structure and care model that best meets the needs of the patients, the staff and the organization. This position will work closely with Medical Directors, committees and other teams to forward the development of practice based on evidence and research.

A minimum of 6 years of current progressive professional experience as a Nurse with a focus in acute care and 3-5 years of current progressive management/leadership experience is required.

Successful completion in leading projects or leading initiatives and improving quality would be an asset for this role.

An excellent communicator with exceptional organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills you provide strong planning, interpersonal, facilitation, team building and coaching skills while working independently and as part of a dynamic team.

This position is an in-person on-site location and is not a remote position.

**Salary**: $98,205.00-$107,043.00 per year
