Landscape Foreman/woman

We are expanding to include a landscaping division to service commercial properties in London. This expansion has created the need for a full-time Landscapers / Labourers to join our team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
These are essential duties and responsibilities; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential tasks.
- Aid in the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers;
- Clean up refuse and blow trimmings;
- Move and install soil, mulch, and plant material to assist with the construction of landscape gardens and related areas;
- Spray and dust areas to control insects and or weeds;
- Operate power tools and equipment;
- Assist with other work-related during including construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, and vehicle and equipment maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- One year of experience in the landscape/construction industry is considered an asset

**Physical Demands/ Work Environment**:

- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and small engine equipment.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25-50 lbs repeatedly through an entire work shift.
- Ability to walk, stand, or crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires good manual dexterity and excellent stamina.
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and being around chemicals

**Additional Requirements**:

- VALID G DRIVERS LICENCE**
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Effective communication skills - must be able to carry out verbal instructions, read labels and signs, and complete simple reports.
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as a part of a team.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
- Comply with all company policies and regulations.
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations.
- Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner.
