Penfolds Roofing has been providing residential, new construction, and commercial roofing services in British Columbia since 1937. We are expanding our team and are in need of a Carpenter to assist with our roofing projects throughout Greater Vancouver.

We are looking for outgoing individuals who are passionate about quality workmanship, safety, and Carpentry. We will provide training, a company vehicle, cell phone, and tools - you provide the expertise.

**Responsibilities**
- Remove and replace Fascia boards
- Install Soffit venting
- Replace old and install new Skylights
- Install Sun Tunnels
- Repair and/or replacement of Roof Decking and Siding as needed
- General Rot repair
- Maintain personal and team safety on job sites
- Manage and monitor budget of installation
- Written and spoken English
- Must be physically fit (able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs)
- Commitment to high standards for quality and excellence in all aspects of the job
- Knowledge of Safe Work Procedures
- Prior Carpentry, Roofing, or Construction experience
- Knowledge of hand and power tools for the trade
- Knowledge of different types of roof systems and fasteners
- Must be able to work safely outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean driving record
- Completion of a Carpentry Apprenticeship program, a strong asset
- Fall Protection Certification, an asset
- Occupational First Aid Level 1, an asset
