We pride ourselves at being the friendly, dependable, professional dog walking and pet sitting service for westside Vancouverites and their four-legged friends for over 10 years. We specialize in providing safe, individual attention, exercise, and genuine love and care in every one of our walks.

**We are looking for a Dog Walker - Team Lead to join our team and to run the day to day operations.**

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for
- Managing the daily walk schedule for yourself and team of 4 other dog walkers (via easy-to-use online software)
- Supporting the team, hiring new members as needed;
- Managing house keys for clients with the walkers;
- Staying on top of car maintenance schedule, and weekly fuelling up (via company card/ Esso app);
- New customer onboarding - meet new human and canine friends to assess if they would be a good fit and welcome them into our pack;
- Keeping track of inventory and supplies, making sure everything is in working order
- Coming up with ideas on how to wow our current and future members of our pack. Using Social media (mostly Instagram), to increase engagement.

- Computer literate (basic to intermediate)
- Have excellent communication - written/ spoken, and leadership
- Are friendly and approachable - Customers, doggy friends and team members love working with you;
- Can be counted on, are responsible and handle issues with calm and maturity;
- Take initiative and make sound time-sensitive decisions;
- Are a true team player and pitch in where needed, rain or shine;
- Strive to improve efficiency and to create a better experience;
- Have a class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract;
- Live in Vancouver and are familiar with the westside

This role is 60% home-based, 40% on the road in the Vancouver area. Full-time hours (core hours of 7am - 3pm Monday through Friday).

Base Salary (per annum): CA$33,000 + up to CA$10,000 in additional income
