Alphabet Daycare is a Reggio-based childcare facility in Red Deer. We implement the Alberta curriculum framework, FLIGHT, and provide children with an inspiring and stimulating environment to investigate and to explore. Children grow, learn and develop through fun experiences.
- Alberta Early Childhood certifications - Level 1, 2 or 3
- Criminal Check with Vulnerable Sector (within 3 months)
- Standard First Aid with CPR

**Shift**:
Any shifts between 6:45am and 6:00pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and carry out activities based on children’s interests and needs
- Guide children to participate in groups and in fun activities
- Help children grow and learn through the implementation of the Alberta curriculum FLIGHT
- Conduct observations and make reports of observation to identify interests and needs of children
- Record children’s play and development and be ready to report to supervisors
- Maintain a safe, warm and caring atmosphere within the room
- Monitor the daily routines in rooms
- Work with different age groups including infants, toddlers, pre-school and kinder
- Oversee snack times and lunch, provide children with assistance when necessary
- Assist children with toilet training and diapering
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the rooms

Applicants must be emotionally and physically fit enough to work with children, ready to bring in positive vibes, and to create a pleasant and friendly environment for children at all times.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.14-$27.13 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
