**Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership to other crew members
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials (wood, composite, drywall, etc.) according to project plans
- Perform general carpentry duties, including framing, window & door installation, metal flashing, siding, wall/floor & roof construction, flooring installation with various material types
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Skilled Carpenter
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and best practices in residential construction
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Trade certification or apprenticeship in carpentry an asset but not required
- Additional skills in other trades an asset
- Experience working on residential projects
