**You Will Be Responsible For**- Assigning janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting their work to ensure that established standards are met.- Maintaining and monitoring work schedules of all personnel within their assigned client accounts.- Providing constructive feedback to guide, develop and coach employees to make sure targets are met.- Assisting with the training, guidance, and supervision of new janitorial and cleaning staff.- Issuing cleaning supplies from chemical storage and equipment to janitorial staff as needed.- Ensuring all equipment is in good working condition, report any broken or defective equipment to the facility manager in a timely manner.- Taking inventory of all cleaning supplies and informing the facility manager when supplies are running low or depleted.- Resolving issues between janitorial staff and other departments in an efficient manner.- Working with the Quality Assurance team to make sure sanitation procedures are followed as per regulations.- Performing all janitorial duties necessary in instances of staff shortages.
- Ensuring all janitorial and cleaning staff are working safely and following health and safety policies.

**What We’re Looking For**

We are seeking to hire a highly motivated, professional, and friendly on-site Janitorial Lead to join our Vancouver team

**Requirements**:
- WHMIS- 1 year experience in a similar role or a combination of experience- Ability to lift to 20 lbs.- A positive, friendly attitude

**Knowledge, skills, and abilities**:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.- Work well under pressure and tight deadlines.- Must be able to work under limited supervision and is highly self-motivated.- Ability to work independently, but love collaborating within a team
