We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Payroll Administrator to join our People team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for processing payroll including the collection, data entry, and submission of payroll. This includes processing hires, terminations, leaves, transfers, job changes, and auditing HR & payroll data.

You will be responsible for:

- Administering team member payroll, including the collection, data entry and submission of payroll.
- Developing and utilizing Excel formulas to calculate employee salaries, bonus payments, overtime pay, taxes and other related deductions accurately and in line with regulations and applicable laws.
- Processing hires, leaves, terminations, transfers, and job changes.
- Auditing and verifying payroll and time-tracking records and addressing discrepancies.
- Updating and maintaining employee information within the HRIS.
- Calculating and requesting payments to third parties such as garnishments and benefit maintenance.
- Acting as a point of contact and responding to team member payroll inquiries.
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting payroll related reports, payment information for various annual payouts and T4’s.
- Assisting with payroll related documentation, other administrative duties and projects as required.

You have:

- At least 1-3 years of experience administering payroll.
- Experience and working knowledge with Avanti.
- Working knowledge of BC Employment Standards.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel including advanced features, formulas, functions, and data analysis tools.
- Completion or working towards the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of Workday and/or ADP Workforce Now is considered an asset.
- Previous experience with Payroll or HRIS transitioning such as data migration techniques, system testing, and troubleshooting is considered an asset.

**Compensation Details**:
$50,400.00 - $63,000.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
