**ROLE SUMMARY**

As a Server Assistant at Oddfish, you play a key supporting role in bringing our philosophy of easygoing, ingredient-focused dining to life. You help ensure smooth, thoughtful service by supporting Servers and the broader front-of-house team, allowing every guest to feel relaxed, welcomed, and well cared for. From assisting with table maintenance to supporting service flow during busy periods, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in contributing to a seamless dining experience rooted in great food, great energy, and genuine connection.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support Servers in delivering attentive, friendly, and professional service.
- Assist with table setup, clearing, resetting, and overall dining room organization.
- Maintain composure and efficiency in a high-energy, dynamic setting.
- Anticipate guest and team needs to ensure smooth service flow.
- Support food and beverage delivery as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain service standards.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization throughout service periods.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-driven work culture.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment.
- Current Serving It Right Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Interest in hospitality, food, and beverage, with a desire to learn and grow.
- Strong communication skills and a supportive, team-first mindset.
- Organized, reliable, and able to stay calm under pressure.
- A love for good food, good people, and good energy.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
