**Responsibilities**
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems with software (primarily MS based), hardware, and peripherals
- Install, upgrade, and configure PC hardware and software
- Troubleshoot and support WAN and LAN network issues
- Monitor and track support tickets using helpdesk tools
- Document and maintain software and hardware IT assets
- Data entry of system database control elements. Other data entry as required
- Maintain documentation of IT assets, hardware, and software
- Source hardware/software requirements and recommend purchases
- Maintain confidentiality of internal and external business data
- Follow all Health & Safety protocols
- Demonstrate and uphold our company values and culture
- All other duties as assigned

**Qualifications & Core Competencies**
- College or university degree/diploma in IT or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related technical role
- A+ Certification
- Strong understanding of IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and the MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with security best practices and troubleshooting security-related issues
- Experience with IMBi (AS/400) or server environments is considered an asset
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Flexible and adaptable, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

**Location**:3695 Barrington Street, Halifax, NS B3K 2Y3.

**Job Type**:Permanent, Full-Time.

**Schedule**:Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to meet business needs.
