IT is seeking a dedicated and motivated full-time permanent **Bid Coordinator** to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This role is responsible for the planning and completion of key Sales and Marketing objectives as they relate to bidding and proposals. The role also encompasses tasks related to creating and driving an integrated sales strategy; one able to engage, align and inspire clients with the company's vision and business objectives. The position represents key aspects of how the company connects and relates to current and prospective customers, and partners closely with the wider Operations, Engineering and Executive teams, to shape, drive and deliver effective sales results.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited**:

- Production and management of comprehensive technical and commercial bid responses to Tenders and Requests For Proposal (RFP) with the assistance of the wider Sales and Marketing team. Tasks include but are not limited to:

- Dissemination of appropriate RFP materials to various internal departments for review and feedback (e.g., Operations, Engineering, Commercial/legal, HR, Survey, etc.)
- Produce comprehensive, project-specific technical and commercial bid documentation
- Create and manage detailed compliance matrices in response to review of client-provided plans, specifications, terms and condition
- Develop preliminary project schedules/plan of work in Gantt chart format using Microsoft Project
- Develop detailed project cost and price models using Microsoft Excel
- Transmit bid documentation within client-imposed deadlines
- Ongoing communication through clarification and Best And Final Offer (BAFO) bidding rounds
- Provide after-sales support to Operations and Project Management teams.
- Manage Articulated Pipe (N-Pipe) quotation requests inclusive of shipment quotes and alignment with Base personnel to ensure adequate Cable Base inventory in accordance with forecasted demand
- Maintain and organize internal Sales and Marketing folder structure and document control processes

**Required Competencies**:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent facilitation, design, and organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, produce excellent and timely work results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Plan, Outlook, Teams)
- Applicants with previous experience offshore and/or in a sales and marketing role are preferred
