**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with young children and supporting their development in a nurturing environment. The Early Childhood Assistant will work closely with lead educators to create a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children, while also promoting inclusivity for working persons with disabilities.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the implementation of daily educational activities and lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
- Support the lead teacher in managing classroom dynamics, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.
- Provide care and supervision for children during various activities, including playtime, meals, and nap times.
- Foster relationships with children by engaging in play and educational activities that stimulate learning.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of developmental milestones and age-appropriate practices for young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when needed.
- Compassionate caregiver with experience working with children, especially those with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that respects diversity among all children.

Pay: $23.11-$27.45 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
