Thrive Landscapes Ltd. services the Oceanside Area (South Parksville to Qualicum Beach North, and all places in between). Irrigation services include: Opening up systems, trouble shooting, Winterizing, zone extensions & additions and leek repair. We provide these services with care and attention to detail. We differentiate ourselves from our competitors by providing professional and prompt service.

This is a sales/technician position. The person in this role arranges meetings with potential leads (either existing clients or new) to discuss irrigation service work repairs & projects, produce estimates for the work and ensure that the work is performed & completed as requested.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Meet with residential clients to prepare estimates for requested work
- Start-Up & Programming of underground irrigation systems
- Evaluate Irrigation System Effectiveness
- Provide suggestions for irrigation system improvements
- Irrigation system repairs
- Install new/expand irrigation zones
- Winterization of irrigation systems (Blowouts)
- Maintaining Company Vehicle & stocking parts
- Produce and deliver invoicing
- Accept payments
- Assist in proposals for landscape maintenance contracts, residential and commercial
- Liaise and communicate with clients
- Help maintain landscape maintenance contracts, ensuring long term relationships
- Using expertise to add value by suggesting additional work
- Source materials for projects and arrange delivery (or delegates)
- Ensures project budgets are on target
- Keeps management appraised of all projects status’ & identifies opportunities
- Moderates between crews, management and clients to achieve success
- Constantly reviewing Process & Standard Operation Procedures with the goal of constant improvement
- Identify and report inefficient, unsafe or wasteful behaviour
- Protect company from purposeful losses
- Attends operations meetings
- Adhere to SOP & Process to maintain high value customer service
- Ensures that report updates/pictures kept up to date

**Qualifications**
- Certified Irrigation Technician Level 2
- Other equivalent

**Experience**
- 5 years irrigation repairs/service calls and install experience
- 2 years sales in a small business environment
- 1 year project management

**Salary**: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
