**Your Role: EWP Yard Assistant**

As an EWP Yard Assistant, you’ll be key in fulfilling orders and supporting our production team. You'll complete general labour tasks, maintain quality standards, and uphold health and safety procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Interpret job orders to understand production specifications accurately.
- Carry out tasks such as cutting beams, assembling joists, ripping boards, building pony walls, and gathering required accessories.
- Operate power tools, pneumatic tools, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.
- Keep the production area organized and ensure materials are stored properly.
- Verify order completeness and quality, following specific instructions for each package.
- Prepare packages for shipping, ensuring they are correctly labelled, strapped, and documented.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Participate in toolbox meetings and health and safety inspections, adhering to policies and procedures.

**What You Bring**:

- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset, but on-the-job training is available.
- Forklift operation experience with a valid operator’s permit is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Basic understanding of woodworking tools, equipment, and safe work practices.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality assurance.
