Your Role**: EWP Lead**
As an EWP Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the EWP production process, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining quality and safety standards. You will oversee daily production activities, manage workflow, and provide leadership to the team while identifying opportunities for process improvements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**EWP Production Management**:

- Oversee daily production operations and resolve any production-related issues.
- Distribute work orders and manage workload across all production stations.
- Track production progress using in-house software system and ensure on-time material delivery.
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and cost savings.
- Perform end-of-day lockdown procedures as needed.

**Yard & Material Management**:

- Maintain a clean and organized yard, ensuring proper storage and safety.
- Coordinate material movement, restocking, and efficient yard space utilization.
- Reprocess fall-down materials and properly dispose of unusable sections.
- Oversee forklift operations and daily equipment checklists.

**Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Champion safe work practices and enforce Health & Safety policies.
- Participate in safety meetings, equipment inspections, and hazard assessments.
- Report any unsafe conditions or employee concerns to the Health & Safety Officer.

**Team Leadership & Development**:

- Supervise the EWP production team, assigning tasks and managing manpower requirements.
- Approve daily timesheets and incentives.
- Provide training on safety, quality standards, and production procedures.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Instill respectful workplace values.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 3+ years of experience in engineered wood production or logistics.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing production teams.
- Current First Aid Level II certification and forklift ticket or will to obtain the certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data entry skills.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying temperatures.

**Qualifications**:

- Police background check required.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required.
- Own Transportation
