**ABOUT THE TEAM**:
Clients can’t wait to get their hands on our fantastic products. It’s one thing to promise beauty. It’s a whole other thing to deliver it. That’s where our Supply Chain department comes in. It takes planning, analysis and strategy to build brand partnerships, accurately forecast client behaviour and manage inventory levels across our network. Inventory Managers collaborate with operations and logistic experts to deliver beauty to our clients across the country. Our energetic and innovative team continually improves speed and accuracy to deliver on our promise to our clients.
**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
As the Assistant Merchandise Planner, you will support with the brand sales and inventory planning for pre-season and in-season timeframes to achieve sales, inventory, profit and turnover objectives.
- Generate reporting and analytics as requires, as well as generate Weekly Vendor Best Seller Reporting for Brands
- PO creation, tracking and maintenance for Boosters, Newness, Holiday, Pricing errors, Ship Windows and Qtys
- Communicate with cross-functional partners as it relates to: Late Newness/Holiday, Brand Fill Rate/Short Ships, OOS
- Follow up with Vendor contacts on Late replenishment shipments, Late Newness/Holiday POs, OOS, Fill Rates, etc
- Allocate Newness to stores and online
- Run & Track Newness Review - recommend incremental push to stores if newness is outpacing forecast
- Main Brand Contact for store inventory Concerns.
- Callout In-Stock Issues by Door/Brand/SKU/Collection (overstock/OOS). Identify issues relating to PQ, OUTL, Sales/Inventory, Brand Fill Rate etc...
- Ensure Event QHs are at store side level
- Identify tiering changes, PQ issues, overallocation, Store to DC Transfers,
- Responsible for promo management process, store needs for VIB Promo, and Holiday based on planner projections
- Identify vendor OOS, fill rate, in-stocks, foreacsting issues, OUTL issues, outpacing issues relating to promo periods
- Maintain Lead Times, Order Cycle, Case Packs in the system, as well as a weekly review of SOQ tool management
- Recommend & action DC to DC transfer, store to DC transfers to balance inventory.
- Callout Newness, Animation overstock issues post 6 weeks launch period. Recap to planner/merch for approval
- Identify why OUTL issues might be creating lack of inventory at one DC vs other - action and advise demand planner and planner
**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business, retail management, or a related field - an MBA would be a huge bonus.
- You're experienced in planning and/or buying with at least 1 years' in the retail space
- You're curious, a go-getter, take ownership and responsibility for your work.
- You love tackling problems and using your analytical skills to find solutions.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit, thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and relish in working collaboratively with cross-functional groups.
- You've mastered the art of communication.
- You're technically savvy and are an Excel Guru.
