**Position: Field Services Technician - Material Handler**
**Location:
- Montreal Quebec Canada, onsite**
Experience (Years)
- 1 year of related industry experience with High School Diploma or equivalency
Basic job duties (Principal Accountabilities)
- Receives and controls onsite inventory.
- Performs basic configuration of desktop / notebook equipment - following basic instructions.
- Coordinates with Field Service Team for moving and setting up End User equipment.
- Basic installation and maintenance of technical products.
- Follows predefined procedures and tasks in everyday activities.
- Work is regularly reviewed by a more senior level technical specialist.
- Reviews, troubleshoots and approves operational quality desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals.
- Installs, maintains and optimizes desktop /notebook configurations at customer sites.
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.
- Performs maintenance and repair services.
Skills, Job Competencies, Certifications
- The individual must have proven customer service background.
- Individual will be knowledgeable of Windows Operating System environment. - Must be able to comprehend and follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts.
Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Physically able to lift and move Enterprise and Client technology hardware in our customer environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic customer interaction skills.
**Salary**: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- IT support: 2 years (preferred)
- French language: 2 years (required)
- ticketing: 2 years (required)
- installs, maintains and optimizes desktop /notebook: 1 year (required)
