Demand raised for BIGID Functional Lead againsty RFP for Enbridge Data Privacy Phase 4 (RFP result awaited)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the end-to-end implementation of BigID, including architecture design, connector setup, and module configuration.
- Perform data discovery and classification across structured and unstructured data sources.
- Integrate BigID with enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, cloud storage, databases, ticketing tools).
- Collaborate with privacy, legal, and IT teams to align BigID capabilities with regulatory requirements
- Develop custom dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor privacy posture and tool performance.
- Provide technical documentation, training, and support to internal stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and manage upgrades or new feature rollouts.

**Technical Skills**:
1. Proficiency in configuring and deploying the BigID platform across enterprise environments.
2. Strong understanding of data discovery, classification, and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
3. Experience integrating BigID with cloud platforms, databases, and identity systems.
4. Familiarity with REST APIs and scripting (Python, SQL) for automation and customization.
5. Knowledge in networking protocols and technologies: HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, DNS, network components.
6. Experience with structured data RDBMS, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, IBM DB2, etc.
7. Solid experience with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch), message queues, and microservices, preferably in Kubernetes environments.
8. Demonstrated knowledge in working with Linux environments - installing, configuring networking, writing bash scripts, and more.
9. Strong understanding of resilience patterns, multi-tenancy, scalability, and performance tuning.
10. Experience with Kubernetes and other container orchestration technologies - an advantage
11. Proficiency in Java programming and experience with related frameworks.
12. Familiarity with SDK design and shared client libraries
13. Experience assessing vendor data processing activities and managing third-party risk using BigID
14. Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving ingestion, performance, and configuration issues.

**Soft Skills**:
1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
2. Excellent presentation skills are needed
3. Ability to work with onsite and offshore teams across different timezones
4. Useful for managing timelines and deliverables during tool migrations and privacy initiatives.

**Certifications**:

Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT.
