- Circulate and supervise activities in the Fitness Centre to ensure all members have a safe and enjoyable workout, monitor member behavior in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy, Child Protection Policy and Staff Abuse policy, act on issues that may arise to guarantee a positive experience for those in the Centre.
- Perform regular cleaning of fitness equipment and complete minor equipment maintenance as required.
- Perform Fitness Centre Orientations as required, Y Thrive coaching appointments, and check-ins, answer member questions and provide accurate information.
- Always offer high quality customer service when working with members, engage with members, develop positive relationships and offer support. Work with them to help them reach their fitness goals.
- Build and maintain a positive relationship with volunteers and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Support the branch by acting as Duty Manager when required.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Post-secondary education in a related field (physical education, personal training or exercise science) is considered an asset
- Certified Personal Trainer (YMCA Personal Trainer ,CSEP - CPT, CanFitPro Personal Training Specialist, ISSA Personal Trainer) is considered an asset
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C is required
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector check
