**Job description**

This is a high energy, physical role that requires you to be confident in managing groups of dogs of all sizes, energy levels and temperaments. Enjoys working on their own and loves to be outdoors. This role involves a lot of cleaning that has to be completed in a timely manner.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Managing groups of dogs. Supervise the outdoor romper play sessions while interacting with dogs and initiating play.
- Clean up after dogs. Cleaning yards. You must be comfortable cleaning up poop/pee.
- Administer medications/injections if needed.
- Dog walking
- Greeting clients and handling drop off and pick ups of dogs.
- Cleaning of the entire facility, including office, romper rooms and dog rooms and doing laundry.
- Feeding dogs and supplying fresh water throughout the day as needed.
- Bathing dogs.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma.
- At least 18 years old.
- **At least** 1 year of experience **working**with dogs/animals.
- Familiarity with various dog breeds and behaviours.
- A self starter
- A passion for taking care of dogs.
- Able to work independently.
- Punctuality is important for this role
- Excellent communication with a friendly and professional customer service skills.
- Ability to be active and on your feet outdoors most of the day.
- Self motivator, confident in taking initiative.
- Must be proactive and able to think on your feet.

AM shifts available are from 7:30-11:30am Monday
- Sunday and PM shifts are from 3:30-6:30pm or both shifts together. We'd like to get our new Pack Member hired over the next one to two weeks, the sooner the better Please visit Treetops Pet Resort website to get an idea of what we're all about.
