Kennel Attendant

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Attendant to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kennel and helping out with the care of our guests. We’re looking for a person that loves dogs and loves being round dogs. We are looking for a mature, responsible, outgoing individual who is ideally flexible in their schedule.

**Responsibilities/Job duties**
- Cleaning & disinfecting kennels, play area and common spaces on a daily basis
- Providing daily care such as feeding and water to the dogs
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the outdoor yards, including scooping poop
- Take dogs for potty breaks and supervise play (small groups)
- Additional tasks as required

**Qualifications**
- Must be comfortable with working around dogs of various breeds
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Responsible and reliable as we’re responsible for the care and wellbeing of all our boarding guests
- Required criminal record check
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle as public transportation is not available

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
