We are looking to hire a manual lathe machinist who is efficient, fast, responsible, and willing to rise the ranks for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and making custom-made machinery focusing on the steel distribution and glass industries. The machinist is responsible for independent machine setup, first piece validation and exceptional quality.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Create and fabricate metal parts as required by the specifications
- capable of reading and understanding drawings
- capable of producing custom-made parts in a time-efficient manner.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years experience in operating Manual Lathe Machines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON L5S 1M2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
