We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to assist with the following:
**Job Description**:

- Perform hands on inspection of processed and fabricated components including dimensional, fit up, machining, paint and weld quality.
- Assist Q.A. Manager in producing and organizing quality controls to obtain manufacturing efficiency and quality.
- Provide training on inspection techniques, and/or Quality procedures as required.
- Administer the Quality Management System in assistance with the Quality Manager.
- Responsible for the Internal ASME Certification Program.
- Able to create and document weld procedures acceptable to ASME standards
- Able to create weld maps
- Prepare, submit and store PPAPs as required per Customer Requirements.
- Coordinate external Inspection Services as required.
- Review Drawings at quote stage and provide input regarding manufacturing and testing
- Responsible for welder certification program
- witness weld, cut, bend & inspect coupons

Qualifications include:

- Preferred Weld technician certification, ASME certification, MPI certification
- Knowledge and experience with AWS D14.3 & ASME VIII - Pressure Vessels
- ISO 9001:2008 knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of fitting, fabrication and welding
- Able to read Blue print/Engineering Drawings
- The ability to think ahead and take action, Independent, Reliable, Organized and can work under pressure
- Proficient using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
