We're on the hunt for a 5 Ton Driver who's ready to hit the pavement and make things happen You'll be responsible for navigating the South Island, delivering goods with precision and care.

This is a Tuesday to Saturday position, with a 6am start.

**Responsibilities**:

- General P&D activities such as safe driving, hand bombing, related paperwork, and customer service.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with Dispatch and customers.
- Report all incidents and safety hazards in a timely manner to the supervisor or dispatcher.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-year experience driving a Five-Ton Truck.
- Air brake certification.
- A clean driver's abstract.
- Experience driving a manual transmission required.
- Experience using electric power jacks, electric tailgates, and forklifts an asset.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. repeatedly required.
- Knowledge of reefer settings & food temperature hauling requirements, an asset.
- Knowledge of local roads & highways, an asset.
