As an Aircraft Technician under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor, you will report to the AME Lead for performance of work, in accordance with the approved policies and procedures.

**Essential Functions**:
Your duties include but are not limited to:

- Assuming responsibility for work as indicated by your signature/stamp authority.
- Performing duties such as repair, modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
- Utilizing certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment.
- Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered.
- Marshalling, fueling and towing aircraft
- Supporting aircraft operations with GSE: operating, refueling, moving and troubleshooting GSE (if required)
- Familiarization with L3 MAS Policies and Processes
- Familiarization with the MPM/ MCD and related processes.
- Participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested.
- Maintaining a clean work area
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor;

**Required Skills and experience**:

- Graduation from an accredited post-secondary institution in aircraft maintenance repair or a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an equivalent aircraft maintenance role.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Possess a Valid Driver’s license in good standing
- Able to obtain and maintain an Ottawa International Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Able to obtain and maintain an Ottawa International Airport Airside Vehicle Operator Permit (AVOP)

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada **Reliability** status and **Secret Level 2/NATO Secret** security clearance;
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
