Birchmount Bluffs After School Program Leader

Plans, organizes and implements weekly programs for children aged 4-12 and youth age 13-24
- Assists in program related administrative duties (attendance, calendar, menu etc.)
- Assists with program specific special events and fundraising initiatives
- Escorts children to and/or from school (Centre)
- Supervises volunteers and/or placement students while in program
- Ensures safety and well-being of the program participants at all times
- Attends staff meetings, trainings as required
- Communicates and provides support to participants’ parents/caregivers
- Ensures that all incidents/accidents are reported and required documentation forwarded immediately to the supervisor
- Participates in and supports agency-wide special events and fundraising initiatives
- Ensures an approach that displays a positive attitude, sensitivity and understanding towards people of all abilities, backgrounds and orientation
- Carries out other duties as assigned
- Must be available to work between 3:00pm-6:00pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
