**Q.A. Technician **Responsibilities**:

- Verify quality standard of process set-ups and continued process performance.
- Detect and report, for further action, production and/or component issues pertinent to production safety, performance, artisanship, and dependability.
- Assures product functions as it was designed and in a continuous and reliable manner.
- Responsible for scrap auditing and reporting.
- Must be willing and able to work weekend, weekday; day, afternoon and midnight shift rotations

**Education and Experience**:

- Completed post-secondary technical diploma or degree; a quality related discipline is preferred (ASQ certification an asset).
- 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance/Control, statistical process control, and/or Cost of Quality.
- CMM education and experience
- Experience with SPC and gauging will be considered an asset.
- You must be able to obtain a Possession and Acquisition License.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment would be an asset.
