**About The Role**
To support our growth, we are expanding our Customer Success team and are looking for a **Deployment Specialist**. Working in Customer Onboarding, you will be responsible for setting up, packaging, and shipping hardware implementations to our customers around the globe.
The role is based in our Toronto location, and is a **full-time permanent, in-office position.**
In shipping iLobby’s kiosks and FacilityOS hardware to large global enterprises, you’ll be delivering the first touch and experience with iLobby. From managing inventory, to working with shipping vendors, setting up hardware kits according to sales orders, and beyond. **What You'll Do**
**Process Leadership**
- Own and manage the Deployment function ensuring all hardware orders are delivered.
- QA deployment activities from kit building to shipping waybills, RMA testing, and 3PL orders.
- Track and order consumables for Deployment ensuring active stock of boxes, wrap, etc.
- Monitor security, cleanliness, and safety of Deployment facility, storage, and workspace.
- Contribute to reporting and forecasting on Deployment volume for the week ahead.
- Ability to lift 25 - 50lbs on a regular basis, adhering to office safety protocols. Subsequently, monitoring team safety while performing deployment activities.
- Maintain hardware inventory and participate in recurring stock counts.
- Adhere to inventory sign out processes and educate Deployment team members.
**Logistics Expertise**
- Upkeep product delivery SLA and global packaging compliance; keeping abreast of global customs regulations, shipping nuances, and waybill compliance.
- Coordinate RMA return labels and testing of inbound equipment returned to iLobby.
- Create and maintain packaging documents including packing slips, customs invoices, shipping templates, quick start guides, etc.
- Manage on-site shipment pickups, daily manifest logging, and delivery tracking.
- Manage restricted countries list and international shipping, educating customers and go-to-market team where needed.
- Handle all shipping objections and issues, including resolving customs blocks, locating lost deliveries, and claiming parcel insurance.
- Coordinate hardware deliveries to iLobby office, working with building security to schedule service elevator, and safely dispose of skids.
**Experience You’ll Bring**
- Effective multi-tasking, outgoing communication, to maintain deployment SLA and positive CSAT.
- As part of a fast-growing startup, you are willing to wear multiple hats when needed and want to provide feedback to help mature the deployment process based on your experience.
- Ability to juggle priorities and thrive under pressure.
- 1 - 2+ years’ experience within logistics, shipping, hardware configuration, or other applicable technical experience.
- Detail oriented mindset, with a passion for being hands on with technology.
- Self-driven and able to work with mínimal direction and supervision.
- Ability to lift 25 - 50lbs on a regular basis, adhering to office safety protocols
