**Description**:

- Heart Failure Specialist. This full-time appointment will be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto with a position description as a Clinician Teacher, Clinician Investigator or Clinician-in-Quality and Innovation at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. It is expected that the position will be 50-75% clinical and 25-30% related to research, teaching, quality improvement initiatives, and/or administrative duties. Expected start date is July 2025 or another mutually agreeable date thereafter.

The successful applicant will join the Division of Cardiology which is one of the largest divisions within the Department of Medicine with 20 full-time and 25 part-time and community cardiologists. As a major provider of tertiary and quaternary cardiac services and leader in less invasive structural heart interventions, the Division of Cardiology serves as a regional cardiac referral centre for many complex cardiac procedures. Responsibilities will include excellence in clinical care of both in-patients and out-patients, liaison with primary care, supervision of trainees in clinical care setting, formal teaching and scholarly achievements.
