Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver at Gateway Holistic Care Group, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their fullest potential and enhancing their quality of life. You will be a vital part of a supportive and dynamic team committed to making a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct care and assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for clients.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities.
- Monitor and document clients' progress and report any changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving, nursing assistance, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift or move clients as needed.
- Valid driver's license or access to reliable transportation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
