**Technical Solutions Manager**
**Expert Mobile Communications is looking for a customer-focused individual passionate about electronics, IT, and communications. We deliver a compelling range of products and services for small, medium, and large businesses locally and across Canada. We have also carved out a leadership position within the energy sector by providing innovative industry-specific solutions.**
**As a Technical Solutions Manager, you will primarily work closely with our customers and in-house sales and technical teams on retaining and developing Expert Mobile Communications and associated business unit efforts in the Canadian market.**
**Responsibilities & Duties**:
**Pre/Post Sales Support**
- Provide strategic and expert engineering/technical guidance on mobile radio and communication technologies, Information Technology (IT) architecture, and integrated solutions for client and business requirements.
- Provide deep-level technical assistance to sales staff and customers through Phone, E-mail, Web, and Online Chat.
- Coordinate technical support & demonstrations to ensure that Expert Mobile Communications solutions are promoted and selected.
- Provide answers to customer inquiries concerning product capabilities and advantages (i.e., become the Customer's trusted advisor).
- Ensure that the relationship between Expert Mobile and the targeted accounts is extremely strong and proactively look for ways to grow Expert Mobile's business.
- Advise on tending procedures, examine, and analyze tenders, recommend tender awards, and conduct negotiations.
- Prepare proposals as per the requirements, provide documents, drawings, etc.
- Perform site walk-downs/ site visits to provide detailed intelligence on site-specific requirements to aid in bidding/ estimating work packages if required.
- Respond to technical questions, bids, RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs.
- Coordinate and lead customer lab trials and proof of concepts working with cross-functional resources to demonstrate technology solutions that win business.
- Conduct ongoing technical presentations to various organizations within the targeted accounts to uncover future opportunities and strengthen the business relationship.
**Internal Resource Coordination**
- Manage and coordinate telecommunication projects and prepare progress schedules while documenting all work performed.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the field technicians while improving the technical team's efficiency.
- Produce or delegate the manufacturing of special order products.
- Monitor achievements and costs and remove barriers to the group's success.
- Conduct all project work within the OHS Legislation and Expert Mobile Safety Program. Ensuring tasks are performed safely, and all staff is trained to work within the safe practice's guidelines.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Two years of post-secondary in a related field (Wireless Communications, Electronics, or Information Technology).
- Four years of Experience working within the Communications or Information Technology field in support, engineering, or technology position.
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems design, practices, and operation, including circuit and IP-based land mobile radio systems, microwave, and satellite.
- Experience interacting with customers in a sales-focused requirements analysis, design, and planning capacity.
- Responsibly managed teams and processes in a cross-functional environment.
- Plan, assign/review work, set priorities, and monitor progress to meet project timelines.
- Develop policies and approaches for technology-based standards development and risk management assessment, interpret findings and provide recommendations.
- Proven communication, interpersonal, consultative, and negotiation skills.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships and linkages with various internal/external stakeholders.
- Lead and facilitate discussions/interactions with vendors, equipment manufacturers, and service providers on technology issues, trends, and standards.
- Provide technical advice, recommendations, and estimates and identify costing options based on technical solutions.

**Salary**: $64,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
