**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. This role requires proficiency in various surveying techniques and the ability to utilize advanced technology and software for data collection and analysis. The Surveyor will play a crucial role in supporting projects through precise measurements and data management.
**Duties**
- Conduct layout surveys based on design/construction drawings in the field competently and accurately
- Provide topographic and cross-sectional surveys as required for planning and payment quantities
- Assist with conducting quantity calculations using AutoCAD/Civil 3D modeling techniques
- Provide quality control information to assigned Engineer or Project Manager to meet the Contract and construction requirements
- Prepare complete, accurate, and legible reports for record keeping purposes
- Maintain condition of all equipment and company vehicle
- Perform additional assignments according to Supervisor's requests
**Requirements**:
- Experience with GPS survey equipment and procedures is required
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D is considered an asset
- Must have a valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work both independently and within a team setting
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative, with a proactive approach to solving problems
- Willingness to travel and be stationed in remote locations in Saskatchewan and/or Alberta, sometimes in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to work overtime hours and weekends (overtime pay is applicable)
- This role involves lifting materials up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, and walking over uneven terrain outdoors as part of daily tasks
**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
