**The Position**

The EV Manager will lead the development of our new EV charging business units. It will be a unique opportunity to play an integral role in one of Indigo’s key pillars while also contributing to the advancement of the EV charging infrastructure nationwide.
Reporting to the Senior Director Marketing andofInnovation, the EV Manager will ensure the commercial success of Indigo’s EV charging strategy and deployment. The EV Manager will make decisions impacting operations across Canada and will greatly contribute to the advancement of Canada’s EV infrastructure. Working with industry players, government entities (local, provincial, and federal) and non-profits, the EV Manager will need to leverage Indigo’s itsrelationship with those partners to advance Indigo’s mobility goals and objectives. With the support of Indigo’s internal stakeholder, the EV Manager will also take part in unique digital projects directly related to EV Charging and destined to change the way EV drivers think about mobility and EV charging.
You will have under your supervision the two EV Operations Coordinatorsand the EV Sales Coordinator. Together they will be responsible for coordinating the deployment of new electric vehicle charging stations, from initiation through to completion.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Lead Indigo’s B2B national EV charging strategy, notably the following pillars: sales, marketing, finance, legal, procurement, operations, and monetization.
- Leverage existing grants and subsidies to reach Indigo’s EV charging goals and objectives and maximize the business unit’s success.
- Nurture existing partnerships with industry players either at the local, regional, or national level throughout Canada.
- Together with regional leaders across Canada, provide a detailed analysis of the market and identify business opportunities.
- Create detailed business plans and provide P&L projections of EV charging business opportunities, then provide reporting and metrics to measure the return on investment and the value of each contract.
- Work in collaboration with the Marketing and Innovation Senior Director and the IT Department to successfully deliver new digital products and functionalities related to EV Charging within the Indigo NeoEOapp.
- Research and regularly monitor major changes in the electric mobility industry.
**What are we looking for?**
- A keen sense of leadership, communication, and collaboration to build and grow new expertise at all levels of the company.
- Management of sales goals and budgets combined with the ability to prioritize.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects at the same time, with great problem-solving skills, especially in projects requiring field work and the participation of external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the EV industry, most notably EV charging, mobility, and electrical infrastructure.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and display professionalism.
- Organizational and critical thinking skills.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, administration, or any other related field (specialization in business management an asset).
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Bilingualism is an asset (English and French).
- The position is based in Montreal, but possibility to work out of Toronto or Ottawa.
