**Job Title**: Assistant Manager**

**Job Summary**:
The Assistant Manager at Ruth's Chris Steak House plays a key role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of service, food quality, and restaurant cleanliness. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering the premium dining experience Ruth's Chris is known for.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Operational Management**:

- Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Oversee dining room, bar, and kitchen operations to ensure seamless service.

2. **Guest Experience**:

- Greet and interact with guests to ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor during peak hours to oversee service quality.

3. **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Assist in scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to support their growth and development.

4. **Financial Management**:

- Assist in achieving financial goals, including revenue targets, cost control, and profitability.
- Monitor labor costs and adjust staffing levels as needed.
- Support the General Manager in analyzing financial reports and implementing improvement strategies.

5. **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure food and beverage quality meets Ruth's Chris standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the dining area, kitchen, and bar to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Uphold health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with local laws.

6. **Marketing and Community Engagement**:

- Support local marketing initiatives and promotions to drive business.
- Build relationships with guests and the local community to enhance the restaurant's reputation.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage operations. (WSET Certification an asset)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly in a busy environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Pay: $63,000.00-$79,000.00 per year
