**What you’ll get to do**
- Operate 3-axis boring mill
- Program machine using Fanuc controller using G codes
- Recognize the functions of the specific Controller capabilities and program parameters to load, evaluate and run a specific program
- Interpret drawings and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and the sequence of machining operations using knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and the methodology and procedures of machining
- Measure and inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments (scales, calipers, micrometers, Vernier, and fixed gauges) to verify adherence to specifications
- Input additions, deletions and changes to the machining program as required
- Make adjustments to machine settings, feeds, and speeds as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Deburr and finish details after machining by filing, tapping, grinding or scraping
