Interior Design Product Specification Representative

Design Spec Rep (DSR) is an Interior Design product Specification Firm that is part of the Commonwealth Plywood Company, a company with completely integrated forest products. We respond to the industries standards for the fabrication of cabinets, kitchen, furniture, bathroom vanities etc.

DSR is presently searching for an Interior Design Specification Representative.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Present the newest colours and products from our different suppliers to architects, designers and promotors in your territory;
- Communicate with your customers to obtain maximum information on ongoing and new projects;
- Follow-ups on specs to insure its continuation towards millworkers for eventual sales;
- Collaborate with the different sales teams from our distribution centers and our suppliers for eventual sale throughout specs in projects;
- Replace existing samples with new collections, replenish missing samples accordingly and assure any discontinued products are eliminated or identified.

We ensure an adequate training as soon as you are hired.

**Qualifications needed**:

- Sense of collaboration and organisation;
- Capacity to handle multiple cases at once;
- Ability to do presentations;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Communication, patience and resourcefulness;
- Experience in a similar position is an asset.

Nous répondons aux standards de l’industrie pour la fabrication d’armoires, de cuisines, de meubles, de vanités de salle de bain, etc.

DSR est présentement à la recherche d’un(e) Représentant(e) en Spécifications de design d’intérieur.

**Tâches et responsabilités**:

- Présenter les nouveautés des fournisseurs aux designers, architectes, ébénistes, cuisinistes et contracteurs de votre territoire;
- Communiquer avec les clients pour obtenir le maximum d’informations sur les projets;
- Faire le suivi pour assurer que les specs suivent jusqu’aux ébénistes et à l’achat des produits;
- Collaborer avec l’équipe de ventes de nos centres de distribution et de nos fournisseurs dans le but de vendre leurs produits à travers les spécifications des projets;
- Remplacer les échantillons existants par les nouveautés, remplir les échantillons manquants et s’assurer que les échantillons dont la production a été abandonnée sont enlevés ou identifiés.

**Compétences et qualifications**:

- Sens de la collaboration et de l’organisation;
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs dossiers à la fois;
- Habileté à faire des présentations;
- Maitrise de l’anglais tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit;
- Connaissance du français;
- Expérience dans un poste similaire, un atout.
