**Position: Project Analyst**

**Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba**

**Job Type: 18 months maternity contract position with full-time working hours, on-site position**

**GENERAL FUNCTION**:

- Define the cost controlling scope of the project(s) in collaboration with team members.
- Contribute to a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities and resources (time, money, equipment etc.) needed to successfully complete the project.
- Assist in development in a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
- Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.
- Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date, including cost accruals, cash flow projections, etc.
- Provide assistance to the Project Manager.
- Prepare proposals and cost estimates.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-Secondary Education
- 2+ years’ experience in a project planner, cost controller, or project coordinator role directly related to project management
- Proficiency in use of project management tools such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, MS Project, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Open Invoice, etc.
- Knowledge of PMI standards and practices
- Good presentation skills and excellent oral and written skills are also required
