**Position Summary**:
Knowledge and expertise in the regulatory field continues to be in high demand. Regulatory and compliance are crucial elements in the success of Delta-Q’s products to meet growing customer demand.
**Specific Duties**:
- Provide internal guidance on global regulatory and compliance standards and legislation.
- Identify applicable government regulations at the planning stage of product development.
- Ensure regulatory, compliance, and customer requirements are addressed during product development and for the product’s life cycle.
- Plan testing for regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding regulatory, compliance, and other testing issues.
- Order samples and prepare for testing, including charger configuration.
- Ensure the compliance of Delta-Q products to international material substance requirements and laws (RoHS, REACH).
- Report regulatory and compliance certifications and reports internally and externally to customers.
- Coordinate product approvals processes with external agencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Technical education in a relevant discipline, preferably in electrical engineering or electronic technology.
- Relevant work experience in international regulatory and compliance, working with agencies in North America, Europe and Asia.
- Experience drafting UL/CSA/CB reports for products, and managing reports for conflict minerals, RoHS, REACH, SCIP and IMDS.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and good project management skills.
- Advanced command of MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with the use of electrical test equipment, calibration, and maintenance practices
- Ability to read basic electronic circuit schematics and interpret regulatory safety standards
- Knowledge of root cause failure analysis methodology.
- Consistently exhibit and model Delta-Q’s company values (Collaboration, Perseverance, Innovation, Driving Results).
**The following are considered additional assets to the position**:
- Exposure to basic statistical skills to analyze data and create graphical reports
- Experience using specialized/PLM software such as Arena and ASI
- Understanding of EMC requirements
- Product testing experience
