**Position Summary**

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for all goods entering or leaving the TCA facility with respect to quality, accuracy of shipment, and timeliness of delivery.

Measures of success:

- Pick, pack and ship orders to meet monthly shipping budget

**Responsibilities**

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Must have understanding and ability to support previous level duties
- Ensures accuracy, completeness, condition of materials received
- Updates ERP for work performed; maintain records as directed
- Load and unloads trucks
- Packages and palletizes finished goods
- Weighs finished goods on scale with forklift
- Labels packaged product with appropriate signage including order number, weight and dimensions
- Maintains electric truck and fork truck; notifies supervisor if repairs required
- Reports inventory discrepancies
- Picks, packs and stages customer orders
- Receives inbound materials and logs in ERP
- Records physical shipments in ERP
- Prepares shipping documentation, Bill of Lading (BOL), packing slips etc.
- Call transport companies and arrange shipments
- Work closely with customer service advising them of orders ready for pick up
- Maintains orderly work area; ensures equipment is in good operating condition
- Adheres to all safety policies and wears personal protective equipment as required

**Qualifications**

Required:

- 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, + 1 year shipping/receiving experience
- Forklift experience required
- Physically able to manipulate hand tools and power tools and push, pull, lift and/or move materials of up to 60 lbs.
- Able to operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks
- Competent to operate computer and complete basic data entry in systems
- Attention to detail is essential for success
- Excellent communication skills
- Well organized
- Capable of following written and/or verbal instruction

**Work Environment**

This position works primarily in production plant where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas.
