Playroom Placement Student

Join MOVATI’s Playroom Placement Student Program and help build a culture in-Club that delivers on the promise we make to our members - feel welcome, feel comfortable and feel healthy.
Our Placement Students bring the Movati Athletic brand to life by connecting members to their areas of interest and assisting them with getting the most out of the Club. This position mainly supports the Playroom Team but also assists other departments and promotes exceptional member experience practices throughout the Club.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Supports the Playroom team and other departments including Front Desk, Café, Youth Programs, Aquatics, Facilities, Fitness and Sales.
- Assists with special activities (i.e. cardio challenge, healthy living lecture series) on an as needed basis.
- Assists with the setup and cleanup of facilities for meetings, conferences, events, and training, as required.
- Consistently adheres to all policies and procedures, strives to continuously improve Member Experience and fosters a culture that encourages proactivity and accountability.
- Develops and maintains credible, effective working relationships with employees and the community.
- Responsible for ensuring that all work areas are clean and organized.
**Education and Experience**:
- Enrollment in a secondary or post secondary education co-operative program. A personal interest in health, wellness and fitness is strongly preferred.
- Related industry experience is an asset (i.e. Fitness, hospitality, leisure, customer service etc.).
