Network Operations is leading the enterprise in the evolution of advanced Voice technology projects implementation and managing network incidents effectively. You will find yourself enthralled in various network components and systems within the Network Operations as we strive towards offering the best customer experience.

**What you will do**:
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to Network Operations and Engineering team members
- Provide operational support for Core Virtualized Wireless & Wireline platforms and Services during business hours and 24/7 on a rotational basis.
- Provide expert-level support for change control activities including impact analysis, MOP reviews, change implementation, and post-activity verifications
- Perform as a top-tier technical resource within Network Operations to investigate and resolve network incidents and problems
- Perform proactive analysis of Voice & Data Networks, VM/OS/Cloud systems, and Applications, tuning and optimization to improve our customers’ experience
- Perform traffic and data analysis to discover insights from network analytics for designing and developing actionable performance metrics, alerts, and KPI dashboards to capture and restore service degradation
- Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Vendors, various TACs, and other groups to ensure seamless introduction of new technology, platforms, and services into production
- Create and maintain all related network and support documentation
- Establish best practice standards for VM, cloud adoption & automation framework to drive efficiency, improve service availability, and reduce incident MTTR
- Support Network Architects in the development of the architectural direction and governing policies establishing necessary testing requirements to evaluate proposed designs and validate technology platforms
- Act as a SPOC on a rotational basis, review, assign and follow up on all incidents, problems and change tickets.
- Transform network architectural concepts and engineering designs into day-to-day operational guidelines, procedures, and practices for the Network Operations department
**What you bring to the role**:
- Passion for emerging technologies and love keeping up with the latest technology trends
- Deep understanding of current and future Core Wireless & Wireline Network, Virtualized Platforms, Applications, and Services
- 10+ years of System Administration experience in a large-scale, multi-OS (Linux/Windows/VMware/Red Hat, etc.) high-availability environment, required with the knowledge of automation, security governance & compliance, patch, cost, and performance management
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in VM/ Cloud Applications & Services configuration, operations, and maintenance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering with a successful track record in large MSO or carrier operational environments
- Demonstrated work experience in Translations, Configuration, hardware and software troubleshooting on Ericsson MSC-S, MGW and knowledge of upcoming virtualized evolution of these platforms
- Strong working knowledge of 3GPP, SIP, SS7/ISUP, H248, MGCP standards and related Voice and telecom protocols
- Working knowledge of Voice Calls, Toll-free call routing, IN Services including 800 and LNP
- Advanced level skills in using tools like Tektronix, NetScout, Wireshark, Ansible, Splunk, Dynatrace, Business Intelligence etc.
- Strong knowledge of current and evolving Network Management principles, protocols, and architectures; IP networks and protocols, routing, switching (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, TCP/IP, UDP)
