**Job Summary**:

Responsible for assisting on forecast accuracy and demand plan error. IBP supply and DRP planning will roll into scope so planner will have full horizon responsibility and accountability.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Analyze historical sales trends, execute statistical models, review forecast model result and maintain monthly forecast plan
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy and reduce forecast bias
- Collaborate with sales/marketing to gather market insights and translate assumptions into forecast plan.
- Monitor the changes in sales forecast, aligning with finance budget and business strategy.
- Customer-focused, closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning.
- Monitor safety stock level, mitigate supply risks through closely order book monitoring and communication with supply planning
- Address day to day demand related issues timely and effectively.
- Prepare and maintain reports pertaining to supply chain/logistics process

**Expected Areas of Competence**:

- Solid understanding of supply chain practices and procedures
- Proficient in Excel is a must
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- SAP/SAP-IBP experience is an asset CSCP/CPIM is an asset

**Education/Experience Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration, management, economics, logistics management, supply chain management or relevant degrees with experience.
- Minimum 3 years of planning experience in a production planning/demand planning/forecasting role

**Travel Requirements**:
5%
