Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We are currently looking for an **Electromechanical Technician ** to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position located in Whitby, Ontario.

Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and troubleshoot diverse automated production equipment used for the manufacture of high volume packaging products in a team environment.

Objectives:

- Ensure that all production and plant equipment are in good, safe working conditions
- Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic control circuits.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical machine failures.
- Participate in the preventative maintenance program to ensure production downtime is minimized.

Qualifications:

- Capable to perform general welding duties
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a maintenance technician. Knowledge and skills in

plastic processing is a plus
- Electrician License or extensive experience in Industrial Electricity is an asset
- Millwright license or extensive experience in Industrial Mechanics is an asset
- Highly organized, able to multi-task and work safely with mínimal supervision.
- Dayshift / Available for after hours and emergency repairs
