The Vet Category Manager will leverage market/category insights to support the development of our strategic focus. At the same time, they will collaborate externally (key customers, suppliers, data providers, etc.) to support the overall business to address both current and future needs. Internally, this associate will work across the sales team and cross functionally to support the measurement and implementation of various initiatives.

**What are we looking for?**:

- 3+ years of working with syndicated data (e.g., ImpactVet/Nielsen) developing templates and completing analysis
- Sales experience an asset
- University Degree or College diploma in related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detailed knowledge of Syndicated Data: e.g., ImpactVet/Nielsen
- Category Management
- Advanced Excel Skills

**What will be your key responsibilities?**:

- Leverage insights to drive development of business strategy with multiple stakeholders
- Ongoing analysis of category trends. Develops recommendations to support category growth principles.
- Assist in developing selling stories to help drive Trade Marketing programs and/or category growth initiatives
- Ensures proper assortment through data/category insights to optimize
- Provide tools and resources that continue to build upon our partnerships to drive overall category growth
- Lead relationship with data provider(s) to ensure that business needs are being met- Work with internal/external resources to manage data on an on-going basis to deliver on both business reporting and evolving as our business change
- Provides supporting analysis of pricing and opportunities relative to slope/ pack size, and value
- Work jointly with Finance to execute the rewards program, including training for sales teams, validation of annual rewards, and identifying areas for improvement
